Ozone Land Parcels are the virtual real estate within Ozone Districts. They will come into existence as progressive drops of this virtual real estate as NFTs through summer 2022.
Land Parcels will have initial scarcity baked into them, but uniquely, by staking the $OZONE token alongside your Land Parcels you can reveal more rewards, features and scarcity over time.
The earlier someone buys a parcel, the more benefits they will have, a better chance to build sooner, have access to other limited accessories and opportunities sooner, and establish their parcel (or ZONE) as a known destination in the metaverse.
The metaverse ownership will be recorded on the Flow blockchain using NFT technology. The Districts will always be limited in availability and dropped (made available) via a release schedule hard coded in our smart contracts.
As the metaverse gets adopted and developed (just like The Internet, or Bitcoin), the intrinsic value will go up, for others to join, for brands to participate with more users and a more vibrant economy.
This is where the Tokenomics logic really intervenes. The scarcity of the land (especially certain parcel types) combined with how each owner may develop and market their parcel to generate traffic and business revenues could push those parcel values very high.
Although the metaverse worlds should be made available to all to participate, there must be a limit on access, features, and options. For example, only a limited amount of districts and discounted parcels will be made available, at any one time. Once a District is sold out, there will be no more land there. These are considered the genesis settlements.
The overall supply will be limited at one given time and most importantly, it is how each person will build and develop their world which will make that particular world more valuable.
Think of it like any other social network. Even if there are 1 million accounts that pretend to be Elon Musk on Twitter, there is only 1 official account that is more popular and has more value than all the others combined.
With this perspective, we will understand how each person develops theirs and how much traffic it will generate depends on each owner.
Of course, those entering early get all the benefits to getting more visibility, get early access to marketplaces, NFT functionalities, and will benefit from the 1st mover’s advantage.
